District Vision Statement

The Ventura County Community College District will become the leader in the development of high quality, innovative educational programs and services. Keeping in mind that students come first, we will model best practice in instructional and service delivery, student access, community involvement, and accountability.

District Mission Statement

The mission of the Ventura County Community College District is to provide educational opportunities that emphasize skills and knowledge that allow students to be successful throughout a lifetime of social and technological change. To this end, we offer programs that improve basic skills, that lead to the completion of an associate degree or occupational certificate, and that prepare students to transfer to a four-year college or university. We provide courses and activities that enrich the cultural and intellectual environment of the community, and we ensure open access and student success through comprehensive support services.

Working in partnership with other educational institutions, government agencies, community-based organizations and area employers, we contribute to the prosperity of our community and to the stability and well-being of its inhabitants.
